“Will the Light Brahmna's feathers turn white to match the picture I ordered from? Right now all but the 4 Welsummer chicks are black or dark grey and 2 of the Marans died the day I got them - too bad - I was really looking forward to them.”
Thank you Cindy for your review. Light Brahma chicks are dark with yellow faces. Their colors will change as they mature. We have reached out to you directly about the issues on your order. We are very sorry for your losses!
“Beautiful chick, arrived healthy. At a little over 3 weeks old, she is still pretty skittish, but she is curious. I am looking forward to seeing how she compares to the other older "large fowl" because next to the two bantams that arrived with her, she is gigantic lol.”

Hello Jonathan, Thank you for taking the time to rate your Light Brahmas. We hope you enjoy your brahmas for many years. Did you know this fancy breed of chicken makes a great pet for its quiet and tame nature, tolerance to the cold, huggability, and sheer chic-ness!
“We ordered a rooster last year. I purposely chose this breed to be our rooster and I have not been disappointed. He was our friendliest chick and slowest to develop feathers so we have a cute fluff ball for a while. He got huge and quite beautiful. He does an amazing job protecting his flock and is friendly with me and a fellow rooster. He can hold his own and is the dominant rooster but he does not attack the other one. My hens never peck each other because he puts a stop to it. During breeding season he is rough with the hens so they have to wear coats to protect their backs but other than that he is a sweet giant chicken.”
Hello Danielle, Thank for the lovely review of your Light Brahma Rooster. I know first hand the gentleness these roosters display, whilebeing great protectors of their flock.
