I am absolutely in love with my Lavender Ameraucanas. I handle the daily and they are the sweetest girls . They are approximately 10 weeks old. They are gorgeous. I would love to add pictures but I can’t seem to find an option?

This is such a lovely subtle color. I have two adults in my flock and had to add more. They have really good feather quality without any shreading that you can sometimes get, they lay smaller eggs right now but they're still young. I added 5 more and they're all looking healthy and growing fast. Excited to eventually get them name tags custom made so I can actually tell them apart which is the only issue with identical birds! :D

This was my first time purchasing from a hatchery. I had purchased from RK/TSC previously. I will never go back! I had a wonderful experience with MPC! My little Lavender Ameraucana is my lap buddy. And those cheeks as a baby!

These are not purebred ameraucanas. I purchased two females last summer and both of them lay olive green eggs. Therefore they are mixed. Which wouldn’t be a huge deal however when you’re paying $40 per bird, they shouldn’t be mixed. They’re beautiful hens but no one should be paying $40 for an olive or Easter egger. Which is most likely what you’re getting ordering these chicks. All the chicks I ordered were beautiful and healthy but I’m giving 3 stars due to mixed birds.

Purchased for blue eggs, fell in love with their personalties. I’m a first time chicken keeper and I thought I wanted a flock of fluffy silkies and on a whim later added some Lavender Ameraucanas to the flock. Our silkies were about a month old when we got our Ameraucana chicks. I love my silkies, but not half as much as I love these hilarious Ameraucanas. They were rough and tumble as chicks, bowling each other over to get to the scratch first. A little skittish around us the first few weeks and I wasn’t convinced at first that I loved them, but that changed quickly. We called them the little linebackers for the first month, lol. They are almost two months old now and they literally have the sweetest deposition. They are the first out of the coop in the mornings (still knocking each other out of the way to be the first one out). They will come running up to the run door to greet you. And if I find half an hour in the day to go and sit with them, they fight for who gets to sit in my lap (they all eventually win). They are like little puppies, but so much better. As far as appearance I think the lavender color is unique. It’s almost a bluish gray in person. Some have pink beaks and some solid black (that’s the only way we can tell them apart, besides personality and all of them have lots of that). They all have soft gray inquisitive eyes. I have never gone into the coop without one of them making me laugh. Well worth the investment and I hope they live a very long time because we adore them. Best purchase I have made all year!
