“Have never owned any type of bird. We decided to buy chickens and I purchased mallard hatchlings as well. I really am enjoying the ducklings. They seem very social and want to be around us a great deal. They are a little messy but with a proper environment it is easily managed. They love to get in the water from the time they arrived at our house. They call us whenever they feel they want something from us. It is hilarious. Hoping they stay around at our house when fall comes.”

They arrived a day earlier than expected, and the Post office called at 4:00 AM and I jumped up and went and picked them up right away.
