I had to remove the serrated ring because they wouldn’t eat from it until I did, now they are emptying them daily

We appreciate your review of the Baby Chick Feeder! The little ones sometimes are a bit picky when it comes to feeders and we are happy to hear that you were able to figure out the best way to get them interested in their feed! Usually once they are comfortable with anything in their brooder - especially when it involves feed or treats :-) - they will not worry so much about the ring and just dig in! If you have any questions, always feel free to let us know. We are happy to help!

Very small and plastic is very thin. It does ot appear that it will last very long under use. I have not used it yet.

These feeders are the perfect size for baby chicks! It keeps the food nice & clean. Be careful of older chicks, they can get hung in the top. I simply cut out the top stays to prevent it.

It would get the job done. Thin cheap quality. You get what you pay for.

Had this feeder for 4 days, and the chicks are quite content. With 16 little ones, I purchased 2 feeders, which works great when everybody gets the idea to eat at the same time! Recommended!

It is not the most durable but it will do for what you need it for which is initial chick feedings. Once they outgrow it you will be happy to get a much sturdier product.
