“We have had baby chicks in the past and would start with them in a cardboard box and then move them into a dog crate until they were ready to go outside. This system is so much better!!! I catch the girls (8 of them) and put them in a container, lift this up and put it out of the way, and clean up the bedding (using paper towels like suggested from the warmer we purchased through the site too). Definitely would recommend this product!”
“I looked at several brooder options. I was discouraged by the high price and low quality of many brooder options. This was more economical and had higher side walls than most. We only have 4 chicks and this expands bigger than we need, but the design allows you to customize the size for your flock. I am happy with this purchase and I would buy again.”
“We got this for our six day old chicks. It‚Äôs worked out perfectly. We put some cardboard underneath out and taped all the seams so they can‚Äôt escape however they are not two weeks old and they can fly out of it so we‚Äôve had to put some netting over the top.”
“We had a flock of 15 chicks. We used all 10 panels. It was fast and easy to assemble. The only downside to this was the fact after the third week the chicks were able to jump their way out. We ended up building a brooder just a bit taller and with lid.”
