“I'm new to chicken keeping but am very impressed with this chicken coop. Its tall enough for my bantams to shelter underneath and the nest box comes off for easy cleaning. The hole back lifts off to gain access for cleaning and the removable dropping tray make this task very easy. I have 3 pekin Batams who are young and as its been minus temperatures at night since I got them they have been huddling together in the nest box for warmth. This has, as a result, got dirty quickly so being able to completely remove it to clean it every couple of days has been a real bonus.”
“There is much to like about this coop. The interior is super smooth and easy to clean. The assembly isn't complicated but I needed assistance - it would be awkward trying to do it alone. I found only a few drawbacks:
1. The bedding drawers don't fill thee coop. There is a 2 inch gap. Why? Weren't they made for this coop.
2. The nesting boxes are too shallow. Broody hens will push out eggs when they move around.
3. Raccoons can figure out the coop door, so you need additional ways to secure it or place the coop inside a secure enclosure.
4. If there is any poop on a roost bar, you can't remove it from the coop for cleanup. You have to remove the poop first.”
