I named her Opal (creative, ik). She is now almost a month old and her feathers coming in are gorgeous.
She is the sweetest, calmest, friendliest chick. She gets along with all the other different breeds we have, she enjoys sitting in my lap or on my shoulder, she's not noisy, she follows me around while I pull weeds in the garden, she doesn't seem very fearful.
This is my first time owning and raising chickens and she's been a dream.”
