Pampered Poultry Feather Guard Reviews

It took a few days for the hens to get use to them but they are working great. I hope the hens feathers grow back soon but I think I will still keep them on a little longer for there protection

These little aprons have been wonderful for a couple of my hens. they are molting and the aprons have protected their new blood feathers on their backs from being broken by the amorous roosters. thank you for a neat product.

I have two girls who the others kept pecking on them and soon many of their feathers were gone on their backs. I bought two Feather Guards, easy to put on my girls, and today they are back to full health and the other girls no longer pick on them. I strongly recommend these and will use them again if needed. I bought a small because of my hen’s build, but although the back fits in length, the wing straps are too tight. After the fact, it is probably better to purchase the guard with adjustable straps. This one is too snug and slips to the side, but I can see that it is helping her back heal. So I am buying another with adjustable straps.

One of my little hens was a Huidini with these types of aprons, getting out of everyone in just a matter of minutes. This one stayed on and she is back to being fully feathered!! She’s beautiful! again!!

I have bought other saddles through Etsy and other sites, but nothing stands up like these ones! The plastic buttons stand up better then metal ones that can get bent and no longer work. My hens always look so cute in these little saddles!

Works well, but the medium is too small for my black Australorp ( who is not a large hen).
