I'm truly sorry to hear about the loss of your chick during shipping. While we're glad we could provide a refund, we understand it doesn't replace the little one you were expecting. We're constantly working to improve our shipping processes for the safe arrival of all our feathered friends. Your feedback is important, and we'll use it to refine our services. If you have any further concerns, please reach out to us.

Seven chicks--one male, six females--arrived during an unseasonable October freeze. Lost one female in the first few days but the others were energetic, curious, and full of personality from the start. Got the first pullet eggs the first week of March. They are very happy in their Eglu coop and small pasture. The hens give an average of five medium to large brown eggs a day. They are very friendly and a joy to watch as they range through the high grass of their pasture. I named the rooster "George," and he is proving to be a great protector, sounding the alarm whenever a hawk or eagle gets too close. Very happy with the service, shipping, and of course our young flock of Partridge Cochins.

It took a while to figure which one was our cochin. Shes a bit skidish barely getting her feathers now. We named her Socks. Had pastry butt for awhile but was able to treat it. We love her feathers that are coming in now.
