“I bought this because I have 2 other metal feeders from this company. I love the metal feeders because I can lift the lid to check levels and refill. This plastic one however requires quite a bit of pulling to get the lid off. I'm glad it fits tightly, but and love the idea but much prefer the metal ones. That is however, the only downside to these feeders. They have changed my routine with my chickens and saved me lots of time. I love everything except the lid. I have also purchased the waterers and they also are great. You only have to remove the lids to clean them, not to fill them. These products are great ideas for people who love chickens and want to care well for them.”
“This was a great option for me to leave the feed in the run. It does a good job of keeping the feed dry. Mine is out in the open as well. When it really storms and rains sideways you run the risk of some water getting in. I turned the feeder so it faces away from the winds and it fixed the problem. Its not perfect but its pretty damn good if you don't want to mess with feed.”
“Not happy with this feeder at all. The girls won‚Äôt even look at it. After several days I ended up using a regular feeder to feed my hungry birds.
I would not recommend this feeder, also unable to return”
