“Our bantam chickens quickly learned how these feeders work. I check them every day to make sure they are not contaminated but it has just been a joy for everyone since we got these. The chickens have full-time access to a lot of food, it is covered from rain (which we get a lot of here in Florida). We feed our chickens a special feed which is pricey so it is extra nice that waste has been eliminated. Even my smallest bantam hen has no problem eating from this feeder. I own three of these feeders and they've been absolutely brilliant.”
“This feeder as in the smaller version are a huge waste of money! You fill the feeder with food and the hole the chickens need to put their heads in to eat the food is so deep that they can‚Äôt reach the food! The smaller version that is made for chicks is the same way!
I spent so much money on these rent a coop feeders and waterers!! I should have just bought the Grandpas feeder from the start! That’s what you need! Thats what you will want! Believe me, bite the bullet and just get a grandpas feeder from the start! You won’t be sorry!
You will end up throwing this away! It‚Äôs simply a terrible design!”
