“We got our chicks in October and used this when they first got home and when we were transitioning them outside (it was beginning to get chilly). We are in the middle of a crazy heat wave and we have it available to them in icy water along with their regular water. They seem to know when they need it. We also put up an industrial fan to keep the air circulation and the flies at bay. This has kept them laying through the tough times! That, and cuddles.”
