“It’s been unusually cold and I was extremely worried about my November delivery! My babies arrived happy, healthy and warm. They had a nice little heat pack.
We got home from the post office and gave them a drink and they had little chicken zoomies.”
“One of two chicks that I ordered is thriving… while the other came with a bulging eye infection! I’ve had her inside separated from the others treating her eye topically as well as she is getting oral antibiotic in her water. She seems to be recovering… but ALOT OF WORK that I was t planning on… but obviously willing to do because it’s the right thing! I had to give all of the others antibiotics in their water to make sure that they wouldn’t carry out the infection as well. The pic added is the day I got the chicks. Her eye got MUCH worse!! Thankfully looking better after a week of determination. Hoping and praying the other chicks will take her back in when the time comes!”
“These chicks have been like little love bugs, so I will be interested in seeing how their personalities continue to evolve, especially when they join others in the coop.”
