If I could find a lower score I would. Upon arrival my chicken was dead in the box. They offered a refund but they do not offer you another bird of its type. This was a rare bird and I'm not able to get another one nor do they allow you to be on a waiting list even though you lost your bird through their transport. I was told that when they shipped the birds that they're in a special truck that transports them. I come to find out through the postal service. They're in a freight truck and they go dock to dock until they reach their destination. My chickens were born on a Monday and I didn't receive them until Wednesday. I think since it's a rare bird they should offer you either the same bird or you're allowed to be on a list that when they have them again they will replace it. It wasn't about a refund I wanted the bird. But they don't offer any such thing.

My only thing with the silver spangled is that she seemed to have a harder time than the other 7 chicks. She was also the smallest so she had a harder time not getting pushed out the way. We paid extra attention to make sure she got what it needed and is doing much better. She seemed to be struggling out the box was my only issue.

I absolutely loved my two girls I got a few years ago. Out of our 7 birds, they were the sweetest girls. I was afraid they’d be flighty and mean due to the description, but they became my lap chickens. Unfortunately, they were both taken by a predator while free ranging. I ordered two more recently to replace them. My favorite breed!

She is cute, smart and loves sitting on my shoulder to snuggle! But she is also a little escape artist! Love her though!!
