Our chick "Zuzanna" (apparently a popular polish girls name) just makes me laugh looking at her. 0-3 weeks she had a round ball of fluff at the top of her head and now at 4 weeks it's a mohawk of pinfeathers. Her expression is always somewhat disdainful, yet she is always up for fun. First to explore a new food, fly, jump on top of the heating plate....but still one of the chicks my young kids can catch and hold easily. She brightens my day and is full of personality and love. Love her!!

Such a joy watching our little ladies grow and grow. Their puffy hats are the most adorable thing I've seen

I love my White Crested Black Polish girl! She is 4 years old now, and so very tame! She loves to ride on my shoulder and I sometimes have to bathe her head (red Alabama clay) and she falls asleep in my arms while cleaning her/blowdrying her. I love this chicken so much!

I ordered bantams. I was sent one standard polish and she proceeded to aggressively kill the other 7 bantam breeds as soon as she started her first molt. Even now I cannot put her with other chickens because she will attempt to murder them. Be careful ordering. I will not make this mistake again.

We ordered an assortment of bantams and all 6 arrived healthy and have been growing like crazy. We didn't choose, but ended up with two White-Crested Polish (my friend says they look like Billy Idol), two Cochins and the last two are Easter Eggers (I think). One of the Cochins enjoys walking around the house on our arms or shoulders and is quite outraged when she has to stay in the pen. They shipped on the promised day, but arrived a day early. I was glad I was able to go pick them up at the sub-zero Post Office annex. That was the only thing that was a little nerve-wracking - we are usually not home during the day.
