“I noticed no reviews for this product and I have this coop. I bought it elsewhere 3-4 years ago (before MPC carried it) but I wanted to let everyone know about this awesome coop. Although at first glance it seems pricey, it is an incredible value. It comes in large pieces, like each side, the bottom, and the roof pieces. Everything is pre-drilled and there weren't any mis-drilled spots. This thing is not only easy to assemble, it is rock solid! I fully expect this coop to last 20+ years. I was wanting have it a different color, but the paint is so good, (and they give you touch up bottles, too), that I don't need to mess with it. It is really at least as good as a custom built, on you own site, coop. The only thing I did differently was that I painted the floor with a rubbery surface paint for easy cleaning. (You could also just add a layer of roll on vinyl flooring). And I used a portion of the shipping crate to create a litter box under the (very generous) roosting bars and filled it with PDZ since that is my preferred way to deal with the droppings. The man door is great for cleaning, the access to the eggs can be opened with one hand and the handle turns to "lock" open so you don't have to hold the door open while grabbing eggs. The windows are great and open and shut (with screens on them) for various weather situations. The hardware is great, no need to change it out for better stuff like most coop kits. Literally everything is top quality and well designed.
It is an excellent alternative to custom build coops and it is by far the best quality of "pre-made" coops that I have ever seen.”
