Thank you Joanna for leaving a review for your Wheaten Marans chicks. We are so very sorry that you lost two of the chicks on your order. It is heartbreaking! We have been in contact with you about both of your losses. Our guarantee covers any baby bird that was lost during transit, provided you pick up the birds promptly at the post office and notify us within 48 hours of arrival, and even covers those babies that you properly cared for but pass away before the notification deadline elapses. http://www.mypetchicken.com/backyard-chickens/chicken-help/What-if-one-of-my-chicks-dies-on-the-way-to-me-H108.aspx?

She’s the loudest chirper in the bunch. Feisty and beautiful coloration on her wings at 1 week.

Our girl is so beautiful, with a coloring close to a Favorelle. She's super fluffy and friendly, though she doesn't like to be picked up. She lays stunning large specked eggs - each a work of art. I would certainly recommend this breed!

I made my whole order decision last spring based on the Wheaton Marans. I ordered a rooster (Will wheaton)who is a wonderfully calm gentleman and his two hens (Pria and Amy Farrow Fowler). Amy is his favorite and Pria is left behind at the bottom of pecking order in my flock. These birds are beautiful and I plan on breeding my crew to continue to have these dark layers in my flock.

Very robust little chicks! Growing like weeds, playful and full of energy! One of them already does't mind being held. The other one is a maniac but still allows me to hold her. They turned 3 weeks old a few days ago. I purchased two silkies and a buff polish as well and they are all thriving. Looking forward for them to grow

I have a regular and a Bantam in our flock. These are probably one of my most favorite chickens. They are so friendly and curious. Add one or two to your flock you will love it❤
