Thank you so very much for sharing your happiness with the little ones! These little silkies are absolutely adorable both as chicks and once they get older! Cute little puff balls :-)
We love hearing about our little ones once they arrive to their new homes and appreciate you taking the time to share with us how your babies are doing!
“i did not recieve the two white silkies, i recieve two other breeds of chicks one identified as a Green Queen, the other chick is unidentified as of yet”
“I ordered a white, buff, and blue- the blue came with curled toes but MPC immediately refunded and offered great advice on how to help her- she is now our favorite and holds her own even though she is the smallest of the three! The girls are 3 months old now and incredibly friendly and beautiful! We ended up with 2 bearded and one not”
It's fantastic to hear that your girls are now 3 months old, incredibly friendly, and beautiful. We hope that they continue to bring joy and happiness to your household.
“I am so happy with our white silkie hen. She has the biggest pouf ball on her head, a nice muff and really nicely feathered feet. She is a gorgeous bird. We ordered six silkie hens from My Pet Chicken and they are all three months and no one is crowing, so I’m thinking everything was sexed correctly. Everybody was bearded exceptionally well except for our buff (which was exactly what I had hoped for!) They are all gorgeous birds. Service from MPC couldn’t have been any better. Well worth the wait for these beauties.”
“Although I love all of my chicks; I think this little girl stole my heart. She is my only bantam so I was worried about her being so small, but she just snuggles her way to the middle of the group. Very, very sweet and cuddly with humans as well.”
“I bought several MPC silkies, all sexed correctly as females. They are all super friendly (we love dressing them up and giving them baths when white ones need it!). They climb right into our laps. They started laying eggs at 20 weeks on the day, and are great layers of 4-5 eggs per week each! They have excellent feathering and poofs, the quality I had hoped for. Like all silkies, they tend to go broody, especially a couple in particular. However they stay gentle and friendly when I move them out of their nest and break easily. Love them dearly!”
