“I would guess a lot of thought has gone into the design of the Champion Storm Long Coat. The neck closure and hood hit the goldilocks spot, not to big and not to small, with easy to use cord adjusters. Side pockets are large and zipped. Waist adjusters are effective. And the elasticated and velcro cuffs just work. Even though it is lightweight (what I wanted) the quality is good, all the seams have been properly taped. Getting a jacket that fits how you want it, in my case with enough room to layer underneath, is always a hit and miss game, but this jacket proved an excellent fit, I purchased my normal size. I tried NewForest's other mens long coats and settled on this one, the fact that it is also the cheapest is a bonus. What could be improved? — a YKK zip for sure. The current zip works fine but the reliability of YKK zips can't be beat and perhaps an inside, zipped chest pocket. Overall though, the jacket is well designed.”
“Love this coat. I wear this on top of my jacket when raining as it is thin but absolutely fantastic when it rains. It keeps me very dry and the rain just trickles off. The hood is fantastic and kept my face very dry. This price of this coat is amazing.”

It does get muddy at the bottom of the coat if walking in wet muddy areas as it quite long in length.
You would not stand outside a gents toilet in it on a
overcast day ,as you might get a few funny looks.

“I love this. It's so similar to my dear ol late father's mac I wore after he passed away. So this will now replace that special coat.
The length is well below knee (I'm 6 foot) and roomy (I chose XL to wear jumper layers). Perfect it packs away in carry bag. Light to wear/carry. Think it's going to be so useful. Very reasonable price. Arrive v quickly. Thanks all. Thrilled with it.”
