“I am not at all concerned if I am guilty of an incorrect assumption - only delighted to have found what I have been seeking. I explain: after several years of enjoying ownership of 4 pairs of perfect trousers made by Regatta I was truly horrified when that company ceased production of that style and put a grossly inferior replacement on to the market- thinner material,fewer pockets, fewer zips. The internet has been full of complaint from former fans of the earlier design since that time.
Following up on some of those losers’ recommendations, I have bought trousers from other sources - to my disappointment in all cases.
Have you observed the howls of protest from former Regatta customers and designed and produced an apparently perfect copy of those? That’s how it looks to me, and I don’t care in the slightest if I’m wrong. I am delighted with your trousers and hope you will be able to prosper from the demand created by Regatta’s error.
Please don’t withdraw this pattern of trousers until I have ceased to require such things - a few years yet, I hope.
