“Exactly what I wanted. I’m 5’7”,12stone, size 14. I ordered a 14 and it fits perfectly, length lower-mid calf.
Got caught in a downpour - it’s definitely waterproof! After 2 hours it felt a little hot, so not quite as breathable as Gortex, but not enough to take away from the 5* rating”
“Although this coat was a generous fit all over (I am a UK size 6, the smallest size available was an 8) I decided I could get away with that as it is a superb coat, fully waterproof and a sensible length, really well made and lined throughout. Plus it will accommodate the wearing of a thick winter jumper underneath. In my view, it is well worth the money. Brilliant, top marks for this item, which I thoroughly recommend. I can go off for walks now without getting soaked!”
“The coat and hat are great, they were just the thing to let me wander on the beach during storm Alex. I had the hat on with the hood on top and kept warm and dry.”
“This coat is one of the best winter purchases I've ever made, along with my muck boots! The urban grey colour is a great neutral to go with anything, the length means nothing will get wet, and I can feel the quality is very good. I wore it out in a small rain storm and absolutely no drips got through. I think the structured shoulder flaps helped with that, as I usually get wet patches on my shoulders; not this time. I'd seen other similar coats that cost an additional £100 just for the brand, so I was glad to find something for such good value. The fit is perfect for me, I wear a size 12 in most high street stores, but they only had a size 10 left, so I thought I'd risk it. I can fit a fairly thick jumper on underneath very comfortably, so I would say they come up slightly larger to me. I guess it depends where you usually shop - I typically buy from young women's high street brands if that helps, i.e. H&M, ASOS”
“The coat is a little tighter than I’d have liked so I’ll have to be careful with what i wear under it - it won’t fit a thick woolly jumper. Good quality and well made. I had trouble with the zip initially but that seems to have settled after a few uses.”
