“I consider myself tallish woman at 5ft 7.5 ins but the coat size 18 near ankle length. Also generous cut, 16 would probably have been better. Did not look good on, returned for refund. But it certainly appeared waterproof, which was main reason for ordering it, and well made.”
“I can't wait for it to bucket down to test this, what appears to be an effective coat. It states 'waterproof coat' on the website and feels waterproof. The poly weave is most likely wind proof. The label states Highly Waterproof 5000mm. I find it to be really well made and the length will stop my trousers getting wet. Gorgeous Deep Sea colour. It felt warm as soon as I put it on. Zip quality remains to be seen - that these days, is a real test of a raincoat. I'll let you know how long the zip lasts. I look after clothing, I hang it up, so I will know. My current seasalt raincoat - the zip will never break! The fabric is so old I have to buy a new one! The Outback I'm really looking forward to using in gale force winds in Scotland.”
“Fitted snugly so assume sizes are small when ordering. Quality was ok but not as good as previous coats of same design but also it wad half the price! Acceptable compromise .
Used for dog walking in pouring rain but have not put to full test yet so cannot comment on watetproofness yet. However seams etc look ok so am hopeful.”
