“What a beautiful and well-made item of clothing. I was fed up of getting wet in my so-called waterproof coat I thought I would give the Lighthouse Outrider a chance. I found it first on Amazon but when I did a search it was much cheaper here. If I hadn’t needed it for a funeral a couple of days after I ordered I could have had free delivery. It probably would have arrived on time seeing how quickly my order was processed but even with the extra postage for next day delivery it was still over £10 cheaper than in Amazon. I was right as I needed it for the funeral and I can tell you it is definitely waterproof. The thickness of the material makes it warm to wear too without it being too heavy and I love the Urban Grey colour. There was no awful offgassing smell that I have had with other similar coats. All in all quality and value for money”
“Really well made coat, 100% waterproof and great knee length for me ( I’m 5’5). Very good value from New Forest Clothing and customer service was very helpful. I’m a 14 but brought 16 so I can wear a sweater underneath. Perfect dog walking coat!”

“Really pleased with this jacket, it is a good fit and has a quality feel to all the zips and fastenings. It has kept me dry in some pretty awful weather out walking my dog. I would highly recommend and the plum colour is a nice change from green.”
“Just what I needed for the winter: fully waterproof with added cape protection on the shoulders and a warm lining. I particularly liked the 3/4 length, which gives far more protection than the shorter styles. The sturdy zip is good too and the coat can either be worn with the (detachable) hood, or a matching waterproof hat. I love it!”
“Love this waterproof coat, especially the colour. I’m only 5ft 2” and this length is perfect on me. It’s very warm and wind proof. Lots of pockets for carrying all that a person needs to have for dog walking. Yesterday a very muddy dog jumped up on my new coat and covered me in muck. Although I was worried that the dirt wouldn’t come out, to my amazement it came out as good as new after a wipe down.”
