the size is perfect I can still get a good layer underneath and the shape looks good as it isn’t fitted.
Not tested in the rain yet tho but the fabric feels sturdy enough which I was worried about.”
“Delivery was super quick (no mean feat at the moment). I bought my usual size, and the measurements stated in the size guide for my size, are my exact measurements. The chest and arms are good, the hip is wide though (and Im pear shaped, so the hips on the coat are big). You can get your normal size, and it will fit a jumper/fleece etc underneath. I havent worn the coat for riding, but there is a enough movement in the back for it I reckon, and the split in the back opens too :)
The material isn't breathable, so the arms get moist inside if you get hot (my sleeves were wet after I took the coat off after a long walk). A couple of vent holes might help here. The arms are long as other people have said, and they're relatively fitted too. I also found the zip is annoying to get on and off (as others have mentioned).

Lovely colour(fern), will be good for birdwatching and hill walking. Brilliant purchase!!”
“The purple is a brilliant colour, postage and price good.. I just bought one size up (14, usually a 12) so I could fit a warm jumper underneath it and it is HUGE.. I am 5ft4 and I look like a child in an adult's coat. The back of the coat doesn't have a draw string to pull in so it looks very hunch-back, not much shape to it... Will be looking to exchange for even a size 10, especially since they charge for a full refund. My issue really but might be useful for others to know!”
