“Before buying, I read all the reviews and was in doubt what size to buy. The description said that the jacket is 'true to size' but in the reviews I read that some people needed a size smaller than their usual size, other said to buy one size up. I want to wear this jacket over a shirt, but also over a sweater and did not want the jacket to feel too tight, I wanted to feel comfortable. I am a size 10 and decided to get the size 12. I am only 5 ft 2 and most jackets are too big for me. BUT .... this jacket fits like a glove. The sleeves are just a wee bit too long but not so much to make me want to alter them, the jacket fits over my aran sweater and I still have a bit of room left so I steel feel comfortable. With the sweater, I will be able to wear this jacket in Summer, in Spring and in Autumn. The jacket is well made, not as stiff as most wax coats are, nice big pockets and it looks great. I am very happy to have this jacket and will be using it daily when I go to the forest with my dog.Great jacket and great service.”

“Initially I purchased the longer line, padded jacket. That was great quality but felt slightly roomy.
I had taken note about previous comments so ordered the size 12/medium. I am a UK 14.
I could have kept it and worn it but for me it was the depth of the sleeve from shoulder to armpit that felt 'swamping'.
I kept trying it on over 3/4 days but in the end decided to order not only the wax jacket with a shorter length but also the unlined longer version.
I loved them both and have kept them both!
The fit is perfect, even with sweater underneath.
I would suggest to anyone that you order an assortment, all in one go if you can, then return what doesn't work.
