“After reading other reviews about saying to size up im glad i did.. i brought two coats, 11-12 for my 9 1/2 yr old, hes fairly tall.. perfect fit and plenty to grow in still and a 9-10 for my just turned 8 yr old. Again a nice amount to grow into. Padding was spot on, enough to just even wear a thin top. Lovely length too, covering their bottom, sleeve length is good and i like the bonus of the material elasticated cuff and nit just an open sleeve like some. Detachable hood too.
Can't recommend these waxed jackets enough.
Also kids love to get muddy. You can put them in this, get it muddy, wet you name it, let it dry and brush it off. No worries.”

“This was perfect for my grandson, looks great as he will be wearing it to attend shoots later in the year. I think the fit is slightly smaller than advertised but I had anticipated that and ordered next size up - so no problem. Padding just right and can always wear another layer if required. I did contact customer services to say I hadn't received the hood - they got straight back to say it was in the pocket!!!”
