When I sit in my car the bottom buttons burst open also the zip has a strange ring pull

As described the jacket is roomy but this was required as I like to wear a fleece underneath. “I am size 10/12 for coats ad jackets. The size 10 I purchased is huge from the waist up and tight fitting from the waist down. So ladies, if you too are pear-shaped, I do not recommend it. Very nice tan colour much better than the online pic.”
