“Purchaded the padded Cotton wax Jacket for 16 year old son as a xmas gift so not had chance to try it out in the rain etc yet. Son is studying Agriculture at college and works on a farm in his spare time so needed a decent Jacket to keep him dry and warm from our british weather. After reading the excellent reviews we decided to try this wax jacket at a great price. He askd for a wax jacket as his other waterproof coat wasnt breathable and was getting more wet from the inside of the coat then he was from the rain lol, so hoping this jacket is a improvement . The jacket is made to a high quality with plenty of large pockets and a sturdy zip that opens top and bottom. Only disappointment was the hud..very small hood that really doesnt offer much protection as its on the small side. We orderd a size large as it was advised the coats a big fit in sizing..sons 6ft 2 and slim with long arms..the coat fits lovely across the chest and length is good in the body but only just fits in arm length, not sure he would fit a zip up fleece underneath, but i think a extra large would of been to big in the chest.
Overall we are very pleased with the quality and price..looks more expensive. Just a shame about the size of the hood.”
