I am a land surveyor and so out in all seasons and have to carry tapes. maps, instruments etc. in varying field conditions from woods, fields, streams, farms to housing estates.
It works. If there is a criticism it's that the storm collar closure could do with another popper to stop it dangling when not in use.
That said, it's a minor thing and I just take it off.

“Good coat for the money, however it could be improved by using larger and user friendly press studs. Sleeves length is not very generous on both the medium and large that i have tried on. Could do with being about an inch longer .Size guide suggested that a medium would fit but i had to exchange for a large.”
