“I wanted a long coat to go over my wellies for walking the dog. Been out for hours in torrential rain on several occasions and kept perfectly dry. I’m a size 10/12 and got a small - it’s a bit on the large side but at least I can get a down jacket underneath when it’s cold. Great price and quality.”

Used already and stayed nice and dry. Compares very well to a well-known and much more expensive brand. If it is helpful - I am 5'9" and 44" chest - I normally wear large but looking and some of the previous posts decided to go for the medium and it is a perfect fit with plenty of room for a jumper etc.”
“I received very good advice from NFC, regarding sizing and fit, as I was unsure about the size I needed. When the coat arrived, I was extremely pleased with both the quality and the fit. I had looked at another very well known brand but I’m glad now I chose to purchase from NFC. The coat is a very good weight not too heavy not too light, its a great fit and as I wore it the other day in a thunderstorm, I now know it’s waterproof. If I’m being very picky my only wish would be that the sleeves could do with being an inch longer.”
“The Antique wax cotton used is of good quality and the garment fits well. The internal check lining is very thin and seems rather short, as is the zip. An internal "Poachers pocket" is an essential with this sort of garment but is unfortunately missing. However, the coat is is made to a modest price point so in that context it represents good value for a coat of this length. If you need something more robust and durable it will be necessary to pay a lot more. As yet it hasn't raimed hard enough to give it a practical test.”
