“It was just what I’ve been looking for, a waxed long coat which will keep me dry when the heavens open.
I’m a UK size 12 and 5’ 6”, the Ex small was perfect in terms of chest size and overall length with enough room for a jacket underneath for warmth.
The only negative I have are the number of internal pockets. One open topped one really isn’t sufficient, a zipped one would be a welcome addition at least.”
“The cotton fabric is thinner than expected (previously had Drizabone which is more like waxed canvas) but the price probably reflects that. The fit is bigger in both coats, even though we measured according to your sizing. But they look good (albeit a bit big) and hopefully will be waterproof - haven't had enough rain yet to properly test them.”
“Made with a medium weight waterproof fabric. Mine, a gift, is XXL size but this coat is rather short and lacking space compared to XXL from other manufacturers. There's a few design errors which makes the coat not too weathertight. For example the metal zip bottom end is quite high at my trouser belt level and there's no flap underlying the zip. So I'd judge this coat as okay for shopping around town, but not really for a foul day in the countryside.”
