“I bought this Stockman coat a few months ago (forgotten its price but it was excellent value). Today was the first occasion I have been able to test it out in heavy rain! A real baptism by water!! I am no longer the fast walker I used to be but a 2.5 mile plod in very heavy rain (with stops to watch birds on the river and to talk to the cattle later!) took me 80 minutes. Eventually got home to find I was completely dry inside the Stockman! This is a fantastic coat with its waterproofing QUALITIES and CANNOT recommend highly enough. This is a British made garment and the quoted sizes seem to be very accurate (unlike some Continental and Far Eastern garments that often fail to correspond with British sizes).
The only addition that could be useful would be HAND-Pockets higher up on each side. Hands could then be warmed with rainwater thus dripping off at one's elbows. Thank you very much, New Forest Clothing!”
