“I wore this in heavy rain and was completely dry even wearing a back pack with it. The hood is like having a umbrella. The rain doesn't hit your face and deflects off the hood. Good size pockets and easy to wear. It's also warm even without a jumper. Very roomy and size 16 my normal size fit well with room for a thick jumper.
