“I wanted a waterproof coat with a big sturdy hood for autumn and winter and that’s exactly what I got. This coat is absolutely perfect for dog walking and gundog training, keeping me dry without overheating. It also comes with an extra panel which can be zipped in or out, giving an extra 2-3 inches which will be perfect when I need to layer up in the cold weather. In the meantime it cinches in at the waist so I look vaguely female shaped(!) and comes down far enough to cover my bum without being so long that it impedes movement. I intend to add a soft shell jacket underneath when the weather gets really cold. The hood is marvellous - I can mould the brim to the shape I want and the hoods big enough so I can move my head freely but it comes far enough forward that it keeps my face dry (ish). And the whole thing is actually waterproof. All in all amazing value for money, best coat I’ve ever had.”
