I left it on - damp - for around 2 days and the stain diminished but at the last moment some colour spread from the sweater itself (it is a navy and white stripe). The net result is that the stain has almost gone but the sweater is now second-best.”

Thank you for your feedback and I am sorry to hear you have experienced issues using the stain remover.
The stain remover contains natural bleaching agents, therefore we would only suggest ever leaving the solution on for approximately 20 minutes as longer than this could damage the garment and cause the 2 colours to run into eachother.
