“Headlight conversion kits are notoriously hit and miss. I had a lot of trouble with the amount these stick out at the back compared to the originals. I specifically asked if they would fit in the existing covers, and was assured they would. However, I had to modify, cut holes etc to get them to fit and still have a cover that seals out the weather. The instructions are not great either, and you have to align the bulbs correctly in the housing to get the right beam pattern - that should be in the instructions, but I had to search on google and youtube and figure it out myself. That also meant I had to remove and reinstall the light assemblies from the car a few times to get it right - takes time and if you haven't done it before, the instructions don't help! The light is OK and better than original, but if I did it again I would probably go to a specialist site and/or replace the whole light assembly for one that is purpose built. Interesting learning experience.”
