“Initially very disappointed because my results were not received in a timely manner. I believe it was an unfortunate glitch. Lesson learned --take gut wellness test weeks before scheduled doctor's appointment so I will have the results in hand. That said, I am glad I took the test. So pleased with the ease in understanding results from test, suggested foods to consume and those to avoid, suggested pro/prebiotics to improve my microbiome and response from Ombre's customer service team as I patiently waited for my results. Since I have gut issues and intend to heed suggestions given, I will purchase this kit again to compare and gain more knowledge regarding the health of my gut.”
“Ombre is an example of over-promise and under-deliver. I purchased a kit from Amazon and mailed it in on January 4. That kit took so long to process that the sample was not valid. I got a replacement test. As of March 18, I still don’t have any results. It’s not worth the hassle.
The staff at Ombre are very responsive and very friendly. If I could change something, it would be their web page that promises results in 2-3 weeks. That’s not happening. They should be realistic with customers and say 1 -2 months for results.
I finally received the results. They were complete and informative. It doesn’t change my disappointment with the length of time it took to get the results. Will I order another test kit? Maybe, maybe not.”

I had hoped to see if there was any change in good bacteria from a previous test.
“I had previously used a test from Life Extension, which was more comprehensive and informative (but more expensive, as well) The layout of the result left me a bit puzzled, as much of it was "compared to the general community". The one helpful provision was a list of particular bacteria with links to additional information.”
