The Ombre gut health test provided a lot of valuable information to guide me towards the best diet for myself to promote gut health. The testing process was easy and the report was very detailed and thorough. I love that the company suggests the proper probiotic for me to take.

I keep getting emails to activate my kit and I went online and activated. I sent the kit in and about a month later emailed asking about results. They said they never got my kit and that I didn't activate it. Being that I have worked with several other companies related to this type of services I feel competent in that I activated it correctly. In addition, on the box is the activation code so they should be able to tie the customer with the kit that they shipped out. To resolve the issue they are giving me a discount code so I can buy another kit for $50.

We have traced your registration process and see that you've only registered an account but forgot to register your Kit ID. Kits are not preassigned when they ship out and this is why our kits mentions to activate the kit ID more than 5 times before shipping the sample to our lab. Your feedback is important as we try to improve this process so that it isn't missed. I had difficulties getting a test kit that had liquid in the tube. Once they were able to send one and the liquid stayed in the tube the process went pretty smoothly. I wish they had an actual report you could download and take to your doctor. On the help page the tell you to "ctrl p" the screen, which #1 is a pain in the a** and #2 it doesn't print the screen for an easy read...pages end up getting cut off etc and you have to log into each different report to "cntl P" seriousl. ugh. A download that had all of the info in a nice succint report would be useful and you'd think they would have that, but they don't . They also don't help you, other than the probiotics, with how to move forward with the info gathered. A report on best types of exercise or which kind of diet would work best based on your findings would be so nice.

I had to get a second test because there was an issue with the first one, but customer service was great and sent me two more kits. I gave one to my husband to use so we can both get more information about our gut health. The results are somewhat difficult to decipher, but once I figured it out, they were helpful.
