“I love this clock. The alarm is wonderful. The only issue is the alarm indicator light. It is like a beacon in the dark. It is much too bright. Otherwise, very well done.”

The Design
“I purchased OneClock because I was really impressed with the idea, and I am a believer that traditional alarm clocks must not be the best way to wake up in the morning. I loved the idea of novel, calming sounds slowly waking me up, rather than abrasive horns and beeps; and, I also happen to be a War on Drugs fan, so that also piqued my interest. I loved the design of the clock, and it's minimalism. I was really excited to receive my clock, and I'm not unhappy with it, but I'm not quite sure if it's going to work for me, and here's why: 1) It doesn't wake me up. The music gets louder, and I hear it, but it's almost as if my sleepy brain assumes it is background music or incorporates it into whatever I'm dreaming about, because I continue to sleep through it; 2) and, then after around 20 minutes, it turns off completely, and then I'm really sunk because there is no snooze feature. Initially, I liked the idea of not having a snooze button, but in this scenario, I think it is important for the clock to either add snooze or continue playing indefinitely until turned off rather than auto shutting off at 20min; 3) on a side note, my speaker sounds scratchy and blown out once it reaches the highest volume level, and if anything, it's that sound that actually will wake me up. not sure if this is an issue with mine, specifically, or with them all at the loudest volumes, but the Hifi speaker doesn't seem to be able to handle the loudest setting; 4) one of the features that I was most drawn to was having different sounds wake me up every morning, but it appears that feature was discontinued, and I somehow missed this fact. Hopefully as more music is available, this will not be as big of an issue, which brings me to my last point; 5) There is only currently one catalog of music, which is preinstalled, but the clock setup alludes to a Music Store, which I'm assuming from looking at the website that it is forthcoming. That's great...I'm willing to be patient for some more tunes. However, when I've just spent $299 on a clock, the idea that the music has to be purchased is a little bit irritating. I'm not saying the clock isn't worth $299, but anyone could agree that is a relatively expensive clock, and so to have spent all that money and then be told i have to purchase additional music whenever it becomes available is a bit of a bummer for me. That's my take...there's a lot of great and I love to see it on my nightstand, but I'm still on the fence about whether it was worth the investment.”

The Wake Up, The Design
“I purchased one clock b/c I feel like alarms on my phone are jarring. I can't say if it's improved my sleep, but it's definitely improved how I feel when I wake up. It's peaceful, allows me to open my eyes and not be listening to some aggressive beep or alarm, and the design of this thing is perfection. The music is so great too, so unique, so calming, so great. Overall, this is an amazing machine and I am super excited to have it.”
“Love!! To be honest i purchased this for the aesthetic not the Grammy winning audio.. I wake naturally for the most part…. I got the orangey-red — it is stunning and I’m so happy to be rid of digital in my bedroom. I love the pop of color next to my bed —- brightens my mood instantly!… and so well-crafted. I would love a mini travel version and a “living room” version that didn’t necessarily have the bespoke wake up features because i just love the design of the clock body itself. I searched for a long time for a bedroom clock that met my design criteria.. the unique audio features were much less relevant to me… My only issue is the price point - it was a splurge indeed and not affordable for many.”
“I live in a 135 year old house. I don't like anything except old stuff and my motto is 'Modernism Sucks' (even though that's just my house motto, I don't really believe that). The One Clock is my only near modern item that is left out where it can be seen by anyone entering my bedroom. It fits right in but also pops out. I love it and I love the way it wakes me up!”
