I like the clock a lot. Unfortunately, one volume setting doesn't work for all of the wake-up pieces, which is a pretty big problem. If I set it right for the majority, there are one or two that are in a frequency range where that isn't loud enough and I oversleep. Setting it louder makes the others too loud and defeats the whole purpose. This is something I can fix on my own with some loudness normalization, if only I had access to the files and could upload them myself, but that capability doesn't exist. I messaged OneClock and they said they'd fix it when new music options came out but that was a long time ago and I haven't seen any new options. Plus I'd have to pay for those, and I want to be able to use the original songs as is and wake up to the alarm. So.... I like it a lot. And it only wakes me up successfully 70% of the time. So I can't use it. And that's a bummer.

No complaints whatsoever about the workmanship on the base model (though the rubber feet being attached by glue means they occasionally come off, which is a minor annoyance). The only serious gripe I have is long-term support for the device. We've been told that new music is coming since the original kickstarter campaign ended, but it hasn't materialized yet. I'd settle for instructions on how to remove specific songs from the base set though. I enjoy waking up to most of them, but one in particular is so obnoxious that it puts me in a bad mood whenever I hear it (the humming women song), and another is just slightly too quiet to be useful for waking me up (the one with the really soft oboes). I've slept through it a couple times for several minutes before it finally successfully roused me. The wait for new music would be more bearable if I could just deal with those two in the meantime.

I love my OneClock! I may have hated my alarm clock, but I love my OneClock! It's the best way to wake up each morning. Usually, the OneClock's light alone wakes me up, but, if not, the gentle sounds always bring me about - it's not failed me yet. It's a gentle way to wake each morning. It's funny how something so simple can make such a difference. My wife and I both have our own OneClock. After removing our old digital clocks, our bedroom is now much darker which makes for better sleep. The sleek, classic design looks great! The engineering is effective and reliable. If you're looking at this clock, don't hesitate. You won't regret it! And if you do... I'd say you need to take a critical look at yourself and your values. :) -Matt

The simplicity of OneClock is its beauty. I like how there is no USB slot, no radio, and no snooze button. OneClock doesn't demand anything of me when I simply want to wind down to sleep. I push one bottom and the alarm sets and in the morning, incredibly melodic music eases me awake versus the typical alarm clocks that jolt you awake. The OneClock is worth every penny!

What do you love most about your OneClock? Design, No connectivity
I love idea and the general design of the OneClock. Its just a beautiful piece, the clock and the timer work well and I like to have no connectivity and to wake up to specially designed music. However, there are a few issues I've come across: 1. There is only one timer which isnt great for couples. It was written in the kickstarter, so no point deduction for that, its still unfortunate though. The response of the team was in the line of "just buy another clock", but well, the thing costs 300$ (plus shipping, which was quite a lot to Europe). 2. The clock has as far as I can tell a completely closed design, for hardware and software. Its all built together, so you cant repair a thing and have to rely on the company. There is a 20 year warranty, which is really nice, but I'm not sure how good it will taken care of in the future and its not sustainable to build hardware like this, it reminds me of Apple (vs. for example Fairphone). And apparently there is the opportunity to get new music, but again in a completely closed system, so there ist no chance for creative producers all over the world to develop something incredible or for me to just change some minor things to improve it for me 3. And this bothers me the most since its regarding the main function: The clock doesnt always wake me up. The music is so calming that sometimes I just sleep through it and I already missed an appointment due to this. The music is great, but it doesnt have any climax, so you can sleep through it or wake up and immediately fall asleep again because its so soothing.

Would love to be able to read the clock at night without tapping on it.
