“Everything has a top-quality feel to it. The detent to the knobs and the knurling is wonderful. The features are very intuitive and overall the clock minimizes what it needs to get the job done. To go to bed without the interference of light or sound has been a great change from your typical bedside alarm. The soft glow of the alarm indicator is just enough to assure you that all set is for the morning.”
“I paid for this very expensive clock with the intention of replacing my old radio alarm clock which would often not start with music but rather white noise or no sound at all as the dial was very sensitive. Thinking that for this big price I would get an alarm that gently wakes me up on time. Instead this device will sometimes (maybe 3 out of 10 times) not make a peep. I think this is due to the preset randomization of tones it will select. I don’t mind that I have to manually turn on the alarm time with the simple press of a button each night (as the analogue display doesn’t differentiate between AM and PM, which I actually like) or that I can’t see the time in the dark (another aspect I enjoy since digital display is what turned me off of radio and onto oneclock; the light is very easy to activate by tapping the top surface and is nice and dim not jarring at all). The randomness of song was also what drew me in but may have been its downfall. To avoid alarm clock fatigue in the past i’ve set 7 different nature sounds for each day of the week on my iphone but after several years even that got repetitive and also they start loud instead of progressing. The whole point of forking out all this cash was to get my phone out of the bedroom but alas I still need to use it and i will explain why. Most of the morning wake noises are beautiful and what i love especially is that they will start quiet and then progressively get louder until you turn it off. This way i can usually catch it before it wakes my partner up on the other side of the bed. A huge plus! But some of this music is so quiet that it never gets loud enough to wake either of us up even if I’ve set it to start at maximum volume level. And even though i’m sure to check it is on before sleeping sometimes its as if the machine has decided that we needn’t wake up on time at all as it makes no sound at all. Is one of the random songs just silent? Cycling through them I can’t find the answer to that. The fact that we are the beta test for the first generation of these is probably the problem. It would be nice if instead of un-hearable alarm sounds we got an even larger variety as opposed to having to purchase more since this already is such an expensive buy. Oh and also there is no snooze. The recommendation is buy another $300+ Oneclock! They could have put that setting in there pretty simply by making one touch a snooze and a double or triple tap the off option. Or maybe an eeeeextra long press the off and one quick tap the snooze. Just brainstorming here. I thought I could do without snooze but it turns out i can’t. Maybe it will become a buyable feature and i’m not sure I would want to give more money to these people if that is to be the case. Currently I resort to using this clock as my initial not fully necessary alarm which draws me out of slumber about 15-20mins before my true alarm. I press the button which switches it off and then snooze for this easily adjustable amount of time. Then my before mentioned phone goes off and if the oneclock didn’t work then I do one snooze before getting up out of bed. Currently shopping around for an analogue radio alarm clock so that secondary main alarm can be the jazz or classical station instead of my phone. So overall this clock kind of defeats its own purpose of replacing tech in the bedroom because of its unreliability and lack of snooze feature it needs to be paired with one or more other devices in order to be effective. Not planning to purchase more of them to solve this issue. Going to go with a secondhand radio alarm or maybe some other fancy funding campaign that gets more trustworthy reviews of it. I usually end up regretting about half of my impulse buys and this was definitely one of those. Hopefully my next one will be more satisfying and this review gives potential customers and realistic picture of what they are getting themselves into with this over-priced, under-engineered, sleek but unsatisfying box which sounded cool in concept but in practice makes no sound. You don’t snooze you lose!”

“This clock has changed the way I wake up. The music eases me into my day, and because it's different every day, my subconscious mind doesn't anticipate what's coming. I'm not a morning person, so this is a game-changer. I've told so many people about One Clock that I'm sure they think I'm getting a kickback (I'm not, am I?). I also had the pleasure of meeting John Natchez and gave him credit for selling me my beloved One Clock - it was nice to hear his enthusiasm about the product he helped develop.
Looking forward to more music being added soon! I cannot recommend this product highly enough!”
“The style of the clock is cute, but i don’t think the price warrants the few tones it’s programmed with. I was under the impression of not hearing the same tone often, and it’s the opposite that i can tell about 3/4 tones it rotates through at the same pitch and tempo.”

“I really like the idea of the clock but unfortunately, it’s really not intuitive and more importantly it didn’t work properly after just a couple of months. I did get a response back from the company with a potential fix but I wasn’t going to risk a clock that doesn’t do it’s one job: to wake me up.”
