“I purchased one of these for my first ever international backpacking trip circa 2004 and have used it ever since. I have washed it plenty of times, it's durable, light, long-wearing.
Last year I thought it might be time to upgrade (after 15 years) so I bought an air pillow. I hated that, and went back to using THIS! The sleeve in the back is great for stuffing a fleece or jacket in for extra support. The fleece cover is comfy to sleep on. It is about the same dimensions as an airplane pillow, so it's easy to get a cover slip for it if you want. I have used this so many times, for camping, hicking, or even just taking a nap in an airport in transit with this on top of my bag. It is light, soft, packs down into its pouch well, and incredibly long lasting and durable. On long bus, train and plane trips, I will stuff something in the sleeve, lean against a window and pass out. It's just great. Quite frankly, this is one of the best travel purchases I ever made. It goes on every bus, train, plane, camping/hiking trip I go on. And I've been to a lot of places in 16 years. It's rare that you find something that would last this long. When it is finally ruined, I'm going to get another one exactly the same. I hope Oztrail still makes them like they used to.”
