“I wasn't sure what to expect when I ordered these based on the past reviews. I saw that with this round of Checkerboard pants that were restocked they tried to correct some of the sizing issues they had with the previous stock. I did size up a few sizes based on their sizing chart and reccomendations. My waist is about 25.5 inches and so I had a difficult time deciding between a UK 8 or 10 based on the size chart. I'm usually a US 0, 2, or 4 or a 24, 25, or 26 in pants depending on the brand & in these I sized up to a UK 10. I decided to go with a 10 because I figured I could get them taillored if they are too big, but there's not much I can do if they end up being too small. When I tried them on they definately weren't my best fitting pants, I agree with the past reviews that noted that there's an odd amount of fabric in the crotch area, it's sort of baggy in that area and I do not have a small butt. The waist was a little bit loose, but whenever I buttoned them on the tightest button they fit better. I could have possibly gotten away with ordering a UK 8, but I'm not sure if they would have been too small in the thighs or for this style of the pants that are meant to be looser. The butt is not as flattering as the models even though I'm about the same size as her, the seam kind of rides up into my butt crack in a not super flattering way. I may decide to see if I can get the crotch altered so there's not so much extra fabric there, but I also think I could get away with wearing them as is. I think perhaps if they shrink a little in the wash they might fit a little better. I wish they fit better for the price, but they're also not a bad enough of a fit to return.”

“100% size up if not once then 2x. I am a 5ft 11 S/8 normally (Asos/M&S etc), ordered both the 8 and 10, didn't even bother getting the 8's past my thighs, tried the 10's on and they are "standing trousers" not "sitting trousers". Make my bum look great and love the adjustable waist but I should have been more patient and sent both back for the 12 so that I can sit in them with comfort. They are a bit ankle swingery, wish they did a tall/long version but still happy with how they look.”

“Just got my pair of checkerboard pants in the mail and had to leave a review. Before I ordered I read every single review trying to determine the right size. I am 5’3, 115 lbs and a true size 26/2. I normally don’t go for a petite length as I have longer legs and a short torso so I went fro a size 10, regular sizing up one size from what the size chart recommended. I am so happy they fit! I have a larger butt and smaller waist so I just cinched in the button on the side and it fits amazing. The only thing is I do agree with the reviewers that said there was a little bit of extra fabric in the crotch area. Maybe it’s because of my short torso? It doesn’t bother me enough to return though. The regular length is fine and just at my ankle so it will be cute to roll them.”

“The fit on these is incredible, they are really flattering and comfortable and I get a lot of compliments when I wear them. The quality is great and I really liked the little details in the packaging. Would definitely recommend”

“These are by far my absolute FAVOURITE out of the 3 purchases are these checkerboard trousers. I recently have a traumatic emergency major surgery that I’m still recovering from physically and mentally, so I wanted to treat myself to something and I couldn’t think of anything better than these trousers that I’ve been eyeing for SO LONG NOW!! They are STUNNING beyond words. They fit to perfection and I genuinely can’t get enough of them. I have soo many pinned ideas on Pinterest on how to style them in different ways. Not only that, the quality is UNBELIEVABLE! I can confidently say they are my favourite clothing purchases of all time…without a doubt!! ✨”

“Love the pants. For sizing reference I am 5'8, 127lbs. I am usually a 25 or 26 in pants. I ordered a UK10. They fit great. There was a slight gap on the back but then I remembered they had buttons on the waist to make it a little tighter and they were perfect!”
