I pre ordered the stainless steel water bottle, when it arrived I was really happy, but that quickly went away. Sent an email a week ago, as yet I still have not had a response. Their auto reply says “ Please refrain from sending multiple emails as this will move your email to the back of the queue.” I bought their new water bottle over getting a Yeti or Stanley one, one of the big draws was the selling point: “Designed to withstand the demands of outdoor exploration”. But unfortunately my experience of it hasn’t been in keeping with that at all. I’ve been using it less than a month, in and out of a backpack and put down next to me while having a sit and chill, and it looks in terrible shape already. My Yeti is about 1 year old and the Stanley is 2 years old, both have been chucked about, in and out of the car boot, taken abroad, hung from carabiners, even dropped, yet their coating still looks good and only has the odd mark. The P&Co products coating is not able to withstand general use in the way the others are, let alone being able to “withstand the demands of outdoor exploration” Moving away from the coating, I’ll talk about its functional performance. If I put cold water and ice in it, it won’t last on a beach day, it lasts 4-5 hours out in the woods, but nothing more than that, it’s pretty rubbish in comparison to others. I use my Stanley flask or Yeti for water and it will be cold for over 24 hours. I’ve requested a return and refund on the basis of it not being fit for purpose, the purpose being “the demands of outdoor exploration”, in practice, it just isn’t. This bottle reminds me of the cheap £10 ones you get from Amazon, which I bought my kids. The coating comes off just as easily and also has poor insulation performance.
