“Very handy to use, much more so than a rachet-wrench style torque wrench. The handle storage for the bits tends to spray them around when opened. We went to a system where we stored the tool and the bits in a Tupperware box in the bench drawer. The biggest problem is that the 5 newton upper limit restricts the tool to certain uses. A higher throughput shop would probably get use more out of it than us. (Only the other hand, it certainly fits our needs more than the previous fixed-setting torque drivers, which is why we ordered it when we saw it offered as a new product.) If we had it to do over again, we would have gone ahead and ordered the TW-5.2 torque wrench first, which we will probably do out of next month's tool budget. In the end, with all the carbon fibre and marked-on-the-component torque settings we are seeing, we probably really need both.”

“Handy and relative heavy, gives you a very good response of the sublime quality (Made in U.S.A.), damned clear cracking sound. Pretty fun to get things tightened with it.”
