“Overall a good reference guide to bicycle components and repair. The anatomy of a bicycle is nicely laid out with chapter headings clearly outlining the relative components. It's obvious no one guide can provide every detail and this book is no exception. I recently purchased a suspension seat post and looked to this book for information on how to adjust the tension; not only the relative moving parts, but also what the positive (+) and negative (-) values meant in terms of providing appropriate adjustments. I recognized that turning the adjustment made a difference, but looked for reassurance on my choices. The book provided little to no detail (page 200). That was disappointing. Given the recent receipt of this book, there has not been sufficient time to research other areas, but a quick review appears to be re-pleat with copious information.”

“Yeah, the internet is a great source for DIY projects. Great as it is, nothing beats a well written manual by an expert. Made my first rear derailleur adjustment right out of the manual. Quality publication, great illustrations, and easy to use indexing.”
