“While my experience with bicycle repair is relatively limited, I do have over twenty years of experience in technical writing for the auto industry. That being said, I have an annoying tendency toward being hypercritical with regard to technical manuals. Admittedly, this book contains much more knowledge than I currently need, but one never really knows what information will be needed in the future. The organization of the content is illustrative and very well thought out. The chapter succession is intuitive with regard to the expectations of the anticipated audience. It's also written in a manner that assumes neither the reader's technical skill or reading level. This is a very professionally written document. It's one thing to gather a lifetime of skill and experience, but being able to actually document it in a way that's easy to understand is a completely different endeavor. Calvin Jones and his team should be applauded for all their efforts.”
