Used on my Rail,…only downside is there is no 3/8 or 1/2” connection to attach a torque wrench. This nut/ring really needs to be torqued ( to specs) to do it right. In this case, I had to buy a 36mm 12 point socket ( 1/2” drive) so that I could make the torque wrench connection…

Fit and finish is passable. Requires a 36mm or adjustable wrench, does not have a 3/8" or 1/2" square drive for a Ratchet or flex handle.

This fit my peloton but one of the notches was bent. No problem though I shaved it down using a metal cutting wheel and it seemed to fit nicely.

I don't see how the tool (BBT-18) could be improved. It is difficult to use because the square holes in the lockring are very shallow. I could not hold the tool in place and put the amount of torque needed without the tool slipping out of the holes (notches). Luckily I had purchased Park Tool's Big Blue Book of Bicycle Repair. In the book, Mr. Jones suggests the tool be held in place with a hub skewer if the spindle is hollow and crank bolts if not. I was able to use a crank bolt to hold the tool in place and apply enough torque on the tool to turn the lockring.
