“I was removing a really stubborn bottom bracket cup and at no point was able to remove it by hand. A part of me wishes that I had bought the version of the tool which I could use a ratchet on, but the act of moving the adjustable wrench and resizing over and over was just a minor annoyance. But it did the job good enough and for many the saving is worth it. I don't see myself upgrading anytime soon as my problem is minor”

“This tool does the job very well, but I realized that for few dollars more, the BBT-22 has a big advantage: it allows for the use of a bolt into the square spindle, which can then hold the tool in place against the bottom bracket cup. This is helpful in situations in which the bottom bracket cup is hard to remove. That bolt can prevent the BBT from slipping off the spines when applying a lot of force and leverage! Not so easy to do with the BBT-32.”

“Received the product a few days ago. Replaced my bottom bracket today. Now my bicycle rides smooth again. The tool made the repair possible, and worked as expected. I was pretty worried for awhile, the new bottom bracket wouldn't thread into the bike frame until I discovered a shift cable screw that went into the bottom of the frame and was too long. Lucky I wasn't wearing a gorilla suit, or I might have stripped the threads in the frame.”
