“Like others have mentioned, I buy park tool for quality. This tool is the same trash you can get on amazon. I bought to take off a bottom bracket from my older bike. It was on tight. The socket bent. It should def be 1/2" instead of 3/8. And the socket attachment should not be soft aluminum. Very disappointing for fairly expensive socket. One use.”

“The BBT-69.4 needs to be 1/4 inch deeper to fully engage. Only catches 3/16 inch and strips out. There's not enough depth to clear the shaft.”

Can we ask what bike were you working on? What is a bottom bracket, and what brand?

“This is a single use tool only. The aluminimum is too soft and match that with a sloppy socket interface this strips far too easily. I made the mistake of seeing Park Tool and thinking quality. Refunded back by the merchant as not fit for purpose.”
